Analysis tool Area Hatching

This analysis has been introduced with EasyMap version 9.1. The Area Hatching tool offers the function to clearly visualize overlapping contents in maps.

As shown in the illustration below, this technique is used for analyzing the distribution of regional advertising media such as local editions of newspapers. Furthermore, the Area Hatching analysis is applied for representing electricity and gas supply areas as well as contract territories of the waste disposal industry. Of course, this tool is also ideal for revealing overlapping areas of sales agents' or franchisees' catchment areas etc.
